One of my favorite kinds of burger to make, not because it is absolutely delicious but super easy to make.  You can’t worry about eating too much on these.  Here are the ingredients! hope you like it as much as i do 🙂

What  you need:

3/4 cup boiling water
3/4 cup textured soy protein granules
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 chopped onion
2 two garlic crushed and minced
Red, yellow chopped bell peppers
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
4 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
oil, as needed for frying
2 tablespoon Chopped cilantro
1 egg or egg replacement for a vegan version

What you do:

1. Mix boiling water into textured soy protein granules and let sit for 15 minutes. In another bowl, mix together red, yellow bell peppers, cilantro, onion powder, onion, garlic powder, flour, garlic, salt, and pepper.
2. Once textured soy protein is rehydrated, set apart and drain (i pressed it firmly in my hands) add textured soy protein add egg and mix well.
3. Remove textured soy protein and divide into quarters. With your hands, roll each quarter into a ball and flatten into a patty shape.
4. Heat oil until a drop of water sizzles, then add patties to the skillet. Cook 3-4 minutes on each side.
Assemble the sandwich with lettuce, pickles, and tomatoes. Enjoy!
